After the Second World War, the Department of Agriculture set up operations at Grand’Anse, bringing social and Agricultural workers and their families who settled on government land. Therefore, the Church set up a new parish. Helped by the parishioners, Brother Victor supervised the construction of the new church which was consecrated by Bishop Paul on 16th April 1978.
