Until 1964, the chapel, built on land given by the Lefèvre family, was dedicated to Saint Teresa. A new chapel was dedicated to Our Lady of the Sacred Heart. She was rebuilt and consecrated by Bishop Denis Wiehe on 8th July 2012.
