Jean Péault
- He first spent 10 years in Thailand, then he was in Mauritius and Rodrigues.
- He was Apostolic Administrator of Comoros Island in 1986 and he participated in the CEDOI.
- He was parish priest at Baie Sainte Anne and Grand’Anse, Praslin.
- He left the Diocese in September 2000.
Cistercian Monks
The ‘Notre Dame de l’Harmonie’ monastery was inaugurated in 2010 at La Misère, at the site known as ‘l’Harmonie’, with the arrival of three monks: two from the monastery of Marumbi, Madagascar and one from the Mont des Cats Abbey. Dom Jean-Chrysostome is the Prior. He was born on 30th November 1963 and was ordained priest on 19th April 2001. He arrived together with Brothers Vincent and Marie-Jo. Later, Father Daniel and Brothers Proté, Gilbert, David, Jean-Sylvain and Gueric came to join them.
